Meet The Decorating Academy Faculty

The quality of a learning experience is only as good as the teacher.  Some of you are here for fun and others are very serious about turning your passion into a source of income.  No matter what your needs, The Decorating Academy has gathered a hand selected group of instuctors who are respected industry leaders, trainers, and talented decorating professionals. Each are members of professional organizations such as The SDP, IDS, CMG, and more. TDA faculty members are not just facilitators of information, but real people who care.  

 JoAnne Lenart-Weary

...is known as the Queen of Decorating.  She is a well known decorating expert who has been creating beautiful homes for over 30 years. JoAnne has appeared on HGTV, WJET-TV's, "Decorating with the Queen", and for a variety of regional TV stations around the country.  JoAnne writes a weekly e-zine for almost 5000 decorating professionals from all over the world and is a regular author for CHF Magazine, Window Fashions Magazine and other print media.  She founded One Day Decorating, which provides the nation's longest running hands on decorating programs.  JoAnne also is a co-founder of The SDP, an industry organization geared to fostering education and credibility to decorating professionals everywhere.  She is also a co-creator of the patent pending "Color with No Regrets" color system.
