Who is The Decorating Academy(TDA)?

An organization that has brought together talented entrepreneurial professionals who have created successful businesses and honed their skills in the decorating and business world. They all share a common goal of providing you the opportunity to follow your passion. Quite simply, they love what they do and enjoy sharing it with others. There are currently over 200 decorating shows on TV which demonstates many people are eager to learn how to create a beautiful space, whether for profit or pleasure.

What is the mission of TDA?
Our mission is to provide a place where both the professional and the Do-It-Yourselfer (DIY) can learn how to create beautiful spaces on your own time, in your own home, and at your own pace. What pre-requisites are required to take a class at TDA? Simply a desire to learn is all that is required. If you decide to work through a particular specialty, you will find that some classes or modules may require a previous TDA class to ensure you have all the pieces of the puzzle.

 What makes the TDA faculty unique?

Students taking a TDA class will have a variety of needs and expectations. If you are an entrepreneur, then this is the chance to learn from the best who have proven success as business owners. JoAnne Lenart-Weary personally, has over 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and interior decorator. She hand selects each member of the faculty of TDA to ensure your own success. If you are a DIY, and want to learn to create your own beautiful home, then you have found a group of instuctors who are respected industry leaders and speakers. They stay on top of decorating trends by aligning themselves with professional organizations such as The SDP, IDS, CMG, and more. TDA faculty members are not just facilitators of information, but real people who care. Do I have to complete a class in a certain time frame? TDA understands that your life is full and busy. You can complete a class module in as little as 60-90 minutes or may pursue certification in a decorating specialty, such as Interior Decorating, Interior Redesign, Real Estate Staging, Color, Entrepreneurial Business and Marketing at your own leisure by selecting from a variety of modules. Our classes are certified by TDA, The Society of Decorating Professionals (TheSDP), and CHF Academy.

 How expensive are classes at TDA?

The beauty of TDA is that you may pick and choose modules as your budget permits. Modules run from Free to $149 depending on the depth and interaction required of the instructor. Professional classes will have tests and sometimes homework assignments to ensure your learning outcome. TDA accepts credit cards and PayPal by simply clicking on the link by each class when you register. We have provided a secure shopping site, to make your purchasing safe and easy.

 How soon can I start learning?
